What happens if an EU student works more than 20 hours a week in the UK?

Are there any serious consequences to this? I am in desperate need of money and am doing two jobs at the moment. I really need both of them because one of them terminates in January and the other one is permanent (the one that finishes in January is important to my work experience, otherwise I would give it up). If I add the hours up, it adds up to about 24 hours, so it is not much more than 20. This is only going to go on for a month, as afterwards, I will be able to work however much I need to because the winter holidays start. And after that, one of the jobs will finish. I guess my basic question is…are there any serious consequences if I work 25 hours a week as a student, for about one month? Both jobs are legal and I gave them my National Insurance number.

Your student visa allows you to work a maximum of 20 hours a week. If you work more you are in breach of your immigration conditions. You will have to leave the country.

Your visa will also have been granted on the understanding that you can support yourself without having to work
“You should be able to pay your tuition fees and living costs without having to work in the UK.”
From your question you are also in breach of this condition and may have to leave the county because of this as well.
