Easyjet lost my luggage – how much compensation?
Easyjet lost my skis on a flight back to UK.
I am especially annoyed as I paid an extra £15 to take them as oversize baggage.
The Skis were approx. £300 new a month before. Any idea how much compensation I will get ? (i still have receipt)
They suggest claiming on my insurance but I don’t see why; as I see it, it’s their fault and their liability and it will only make my insurance premium go up. However, I want to make sure I don’t loose out by claiming from them.

how long did they lose them for? if it didn’t come in on your flight it usually comes on one of the next ones. only they have to pay to deliver them to you if you had an agent take a lost baggage claim. if its been like a week and still no skis then you should contact them and see what you can get out of them.
